Stuart is employed by Mercy Ships as Global Service Desk Manager.
Previously we volunteered as a family with Mercy Ships, working, studying and living on-board the Africa Mercy surgery ship for six years, 2011-2012 and 2016-2020. Stuart served as Information Services Manager, and Frances served as a Ward Charge Nurse and an Outpatients Nurse.

The Clear Family

The Africa Mercy is currently undergoing refit in the Canary Islands, in preparation for returning to Senegal in 2022.
The Global Mercy is in the final phases of being built in China. With build completion due in Q2, 2021, and deployment to West Africa expected in 2022.
Mercy Ships’ Medical Capacity Building work continues, with teams on the ground in Benin, Guinea, Liberia and Senegal.
